The one is more noticeable then the other. You can also see the spots a lot better under straight actinic light but can see it with alot...

Dogface puffer
I'm wondering about the dog face puffer. My question is that they say a dogface should be kept in no small then 100 gallon tank. Is this because he needs more space to swim or is it that they are worried by the amount of waist he will produce won't be good in such a small tank? With that being said ...

The live rock is fully cured I bought it from a guy who has had the tank up and running for over 4 years. Re: Protein skimmer?
Wow!!! Great info!!! Thanks!! I'm going to do it all the way around I think it will be better just have to keep a close eye on it! The best part is that the reef tank is my foot board on my king bed it fits perfectly. So I should be Abe to keep a reel close eye on it

New Tank
I'm starting a new tank and is currently fresh water. I am wondering do I have to take all the water out and start over again or can I just add the salt? I am removing all the decor just leaving the sand. I am also adding 70+ lbs of live rock right away as it is sitting in my basement in a 30 gallon...

Re: Protein skimmer?
I understand the multiple tank whip out that would suck!!! But isn't a bigger system more stable and less likely for failure? But thinking about it would it be wise to link puffers to a reek tank? I know a lot of things on a reef are very sensitive to nitrates well I guess sensitive to pretty much e...

RTR what do you think of Kent marine products? I have used some but very little from them as I am very new to the hobby and they seem to be a good product that I know of but I don't know much right now lol?
