Cleaning after algae infestation

Well just to throw a spanner in the works, the bogwood that had the algae on it, i have rescued it from the bin as i did like it and it costs money. So the best ways of cleaning bogwood are either boiling or baking can someone give me a time on how long i boil it for and................................

Well thanks again for ur advice i will look into getting a heater, but actually checking my thermometer tonight its at 74f which is 23c and according to the puffer information on here they are fine between 23 and 26c, i know im at the bottom end of it so i will look into some heat for him. Nice Tank manutius but tell me something, don't your Mabu try and eat everyhting else in the tank. I would love to put some other fish in my tank with my Fahaka but its a certain death sentence lol.
