Cleaning after algae infestation

Post by Chopper01uk »

Well just to throw a spanner in the works, the bogwood that had the algae on it, i have rescued it from the bin as i did like it and it costs money.
So the best ways of cleaning bogwood are either boiling or baking can someone give me a time on how long i boil it for and.............................................
I have other man made wooden effect pieces in the tank which haven't gone back in since the algae incident, any ideas how i clean those, they are made of somethin like a dense plastic, so cannot boil or bake any suggestions people please
Cheers
