Iv finally found a store that will order a fahaka puffer for me. I just read on here that they can grow to about 18 inches, is this common for them to grow this big? I think I read somewhere else that they grow to about 13 inches. I have a 150 gallon tank that is 4 feet long, 2 feet wide and 2 1/2 f...

You should definitly have TPF written somewhere. They could recommend this site to people buying puffers. Then again they might not do that for certian reasons.

Thanks for the replies everyone :D I think what I will do is use tank water (77 degrees f), add salt and let it mix with a powerhead for an hour then see what the hydrometer says. Was there any difference in the temperature of the water? That will affect the readings. I added cold water from the tap then added salt and let it sit in room temperature over night. So im not sure what temperature difference was from last night to this evening. Should I let the water sit for awhi...

Im having trouble getting an accurate reading with my hydrometer. Heres the problem. Last night I took one gallon of water in a bucket and added salt till the hydrometer said 1.004.
