My dad went to cuba with some friends and brought back some shells from the beach. Lo and behold there was something still alive!! A beuatiful snail. I decided to plop it in my fish tank (fresh at the moment) and its still alive. Last night it was oozing around the tank and this morning its resting above the water line like snails like to do. It seems to be doing fine. Since it came from an ocean beach, im guessing it got washed up on shore.
Do you think it will live? Im planning on adding salt to my tank to make it brackish, maybe that will help it live longer? Can anyone perhaps identify what kind of snail it is?

Any bigger pictures you can post? Too difficult to tell right now.
"Darwin swings...annnnnnd a miss. Boy Jim, Chuck's suffered at the plate tonight. He's 0 for 3 and I'm not sure he's recovered from that shoulder pull a few weeks ago. I'll bet the front office is re-thinking that contract."
