i remember at like 7 years old and trying to sell geckos i caught outside to a petstore cause I wanted a ferret haha. Let me tell you.... they sure as heck didn't take the geckos and I never got that ferret haha. Worth a shot.

Nick .... my best friend and I bought show bettas from Thailand and breed them and sell them on aquabid and there is a couple of LFS that will buy them from local breeders. Not a whole lot of money and all of our extras we give away on fish forums or on an online pet placement off yahoo. Most people will take bettas. Its everyone's favorite pet present to people.

I really like bettas, but I just don't want them in little cups at the store. And that is why I would much rather breed dwarf cichlids than bettas.

My GF has put a listing on craigslist that is getting attention, apparently there is a market for juveniles, they just have to be free.
