) I do belong to a few of these aquarist forums and most people do say that the water changes are key, and the majority of them do admit that their tanks are slightly overstocked as well. Luckily for me, to this point, I have had no reservations about trading in my fish that were getting too large. Sometimes I replace them, sometimes I don't. Recently, I was up to 6 fish in the tank and everyone was happy and healthy, then one got a little too big and after I turned him in, it seemed to really upset the community and others became more aggresive when they had been pretty docile previously. Now... I've really fallen for these puffers. I DON'T see me getting rid of these guys! So I will work towrd that goal right now and do my best not to get sucked in by some cute fishy face at the LFS.As far as the rock, it is pretty much a hiding place for my previously more timid fish... like my royal gramma that was the victim of a hit and run damsel (don't ask). Bringing up the SG shouldn't be a problem. I'm not looking to grow coral or raise anemones or anything like that, wish I could, but I can't have both the fish world and the reef world. Now, I liked the idea that I saw from someone, that the puffers like a bubble effect. I went and looked at them and it seems that the only way I can do this would be to buy an additional small air pump with tubing... I want to make the environment intersting for them... although right now, the little GS (no bigger than an inch) is following my F8 (about 2 1/2 inches) all over the place.... Gosh, they are so cute!
