Saddle puffer
Saddle puffer
Im looking to get a saddle puffer. I currently have a fish only tank with a clownfish, royal gramma and a coral beauty angel. Also have a Sally long leg crab. I'm wanting one more clown and the puffer. Will the puffer be ok in my tank ? I don't want anything to aggressive. Always love the puffers !!

How large is the tank? It sounds like the fish you have should be OK with a Toby puffer, as long as there's enough room for everybody. Can't guarantee the crab won't be dinner though.

Tank is a 55 gallon. About 50 lbs live rock.

Re: Saddle puffer
I think it should be fine. Is there a protein skimmer on there?

Yes I have a skimmer. So far the puffer is doing great. Eating frozen shrimp good. Doesn't seem to like the flakes though. Very cool fish though. Quickly becoming my favorite fish.Pufferpunk wrote:I think it should be fine. Is there a protein skimmer on there?
