Saddle puffer

Post by jborlace »

Im looking to get a saddle puffer. I currently have a fish only tank with a clownfish, royal gramma and a coral beauty angel. Also have a Sally long leg crab. I'm wanting one more clown and the puffer. Will the puffer be ok in my tank ? I don't want anything to aggressive. Always love the puffers !!

How large is the tank? It sounds like the fish you have should be OK with a Toby puffer, as long as there's enough room for everybody. Can't guarantee the crab won't be dinner though.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

I think it should be fine. Is there a protein skimmer on there?

Yes I have a skimmer. So far the puffer is doing great. Eating frozen shrimp good. Doesn't seem to like the flakes though. Very cool fish though. Quickly becoming my favorite fish.
