F8's confused for Ceylons??
My friend who i was asking questions about the F8 with the puffed up eye sent me pics of his F8's and one is a CEYLON! Just wondering if this is a common mistake?? they look pretty similar as little guys. I guess it wouldn't be a very common mistake when full grown....for most

Yes, if the tank is large enough, like a 75g or larger.

same. i have only ever seen one in person. it was the last remaining in a tank labeled "Figure 8 Puffers". right away i noticed he was big for a F8 and figured he was a ceylon. went to get him two days later and he was gonePufferpunk wrote:Yep--extremely common. yeah, when i first saw figgy in the store, there was a ceylon in the tank... i told them that it was a ceylon and not an f8

hmmm. well i think my buddy has decided to keep the ceylon and re-home the F8. but he would probably go the other way if someone wants the ceylon....
