Fahaka collection points?
Just wondering if anyone knows where most Fahaka puffer's are collected in the wild? I know that they are collected mostly from the Nile River but what African country? I can't find any source on the web so that's why im asking here.

SFAIK, the number of Fahakas in the Nile has declined significantly the last few years.
But I have no clue as to where most are caught.
Anyone know any importers?

RTR, I know afew African cichlid exporters but no imports. I might ask one of them if they know or could ask their importer out of Africa.

Would be interesting to know. Are they considered a threatened species?FADE2BLACK_1973 wrote:Just wondering if anyone knows where most Fahaka puffer's are collected in the wild? SFAIK, no more than any other Nile River species. They do occur naturally in other rivers. As with the Mekong, dam building and river channel work has a high impact on native species, most of which is unpredictable.. .
