i struggel to get cockel in shell, its all frozen and out of shell, i had some muscles they went down well, as its valentines say tesco has lots of live oysters,
can i feed my f8 puffers one of these to help get teeth down or are live oysters a no go area? thanks

I have oysters I bought live chillin in my freezer, haven't gotten to them yet, but I bought clams, mussels, and oysters live. It's suggested that you freeze them first, that will kill off anything harmful, and then defrost them in warm water, preferably vitamin enriched. I use tank water because my tap water has high leaves of ammonia. None of my lfs carry vitamins, so I have yet to buy some online.

no only pre-prepared and frozen gamma ones, i have to get muscles from tesco fresh and freeze them, as its val day oysters are 30p each so i will stock up on them. but wanted to check before i got themlesleyanndunn wrote:does none of your lfs not do bags of cockle in shell?
