This tank is going down hill :(

Slime is coming back, shrimp keep dying (I have 3 out of 6) and super cloudy water.
I did a water change Friday, and after that is starting getting cloudy. Params are fine. Shrimp have stopped dying but still, I give up with crystal reds, I've gonna get cherry shrimp instead. :(

No I don't believe so. It started getting cloudy after I cleaned it, which sucks. I'm gonna do another waterchange tomorrow to see if that helps. If not I have no idea what I'll do.

I just found this on another site, not sure how helpful it will be in your situation:

Good parameters are pH 6 - 7, GH 5 - 15, KH 0 - 2, NO2 0 and NH4 0

Wow, pH 7.5 (usually lower, the DW and Co2 should lower it soon) GH 15, kH 15 - 20

I have asked the chem question in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24044

In the shrimp keeping hobby, apparently you have chosen to keep the MOST DIFFICULT ones ;)

Hahaha, I'm keeping the crystals, but I'm getting 7 cherries for $8 + $6 shipping. Not bad eh? Here's the site, if you order 20 or more shrimp, free shipping! So 20 would be $24 with shipping. Not bad eh?

Thanks. I have another piece of DW that's still curing, waiting for java fern to attach it to. This is the first day with the upgraded lights, so hopefully things will take off :)
