Improvising is a good thing in the fish-keeping hobby. I also printed off my own background pictures for that aquarium as well. I didn't want to wait to buy one, and the fish don't really care what's back there, so I did some looking on the internet, and found a background photo that I liked and printed it off. Then I cut the edges off the pages (I had to print out 4 pages for the size of the tank, some will need more) and taped them together, and then put it on the back of the tank. Looks just as good, and like I said, the fish don't mind. :)
I onced drew puffer fish as my background and my puffer started attacking the black dots. ( i'm guessing he thought it were snails)
