Re: Puffing
Never seen Squirt puff. Wonder what a dwarf puffer looks like puffed- like a little "pea" probably! I've noticed, too, that he has well-defined spots and stripes, in addition to the eye rings.

Re: Puffing
The same thing happened to me when I came home last night. I was thinking why was it puffed up and then deflate as soon as I came to the glass?pufferfreak wrote:My old valentini puffed but once he saw me deflated. Its weird how they deflate when we see them.

Re: Puffing
You've got to ask yourself and wonder why they puff? as in my opinion its a bad thing regardless of how cute or the surcomstances. Its not a good thing, shows some form of stress, and they cant always deflate. I know id worry if i saw it. Dont know if its true though <---

Re: Puffing
Sometimes it's just arbitrary, with no stimulus. Other times, it's just because they heard a dog bark next door. They can be kinda neurotic.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Re: Puffing
My suvatti puffs up all the time. Once he decides to swim around his tank, he'll inevitably hit the outflow of the filter and then puff up like mad. It's hillarious. You think he'd have learned by now not to be scared of the water flow.
