Wat is ip? and how to treat it?

IP is short for Internal Parasites. I have yet to treat for any at this point in time, but there are articles about it on this site. Your DP does not really look like it has IP's, keep an eye on it, but it does not look like it.

He don't look like he has IP's to me either. Just watch when he poohs and if it's black don't worry. If it's white stringy pooh then he has ip's. Your puffer looks very healthy to me. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Just to add my 2 cents worth -- I have 2 Dwarf puffers in my community tank and they don't bother anyone but the snails, no fin-nipping at all. I've had good luck with Dwarf puffers all in all and I think they've gotten a bad reputation. Next to the South American puffers, I think the Dwarf ones are very sociable, at least to other fish, they can be funny with each other though.
