well if nothing else comes through i would be intereseted. i have the 30 gallon i was setting up to go marine, but if it was gonna be a freshwater setup it wouldnt cost my anything at all and i could just go get another one in a few weeks for my marine. but if no one else wants him and your willing to ship just look me up, im in california so it might be a weird ship cus im not in an overnight zone but the two day works great. but idk if puffers can handle two day like plecos...
60g with 2 angels, 1 yoyo loach, Upside down catfish, Clown Loach, 1 leopard Ctenopoma, 12 black skirt tetras and a L201 Pleco

30g GSP tank (soon to be 35 gal Hex)

I can definitely take him for you if he's still available, shipping from Illinois to NY shouldn't be too bad.

I really don't want to bring it home.

What is the min tank size you would recomend for him? How big is he? Is there any way you can post a pic?

I'd say he's about 4-5" (adult size). All he does is sit in his cave all day (which is probably why he doesn't sell--only a true puffer collector would be interested), so I'd say a 20g long would suffice for him.

OK, here's what i'm going to do. I didn't expect so many of you to be interested in this puffer & have a cycled tank ready for him. My LFS said he will ship the puffer anywhere in the US but he wants it gone ASAP. I have picked a number from 1-100. I have sent the number to Yunachin, so you know I didn't cheat. Whoever gets the closest, wins the puffer. I need you all to chime in by the end of the day tomorrow.

That stinks, I just hope if I do win the Bio-Spira at my LFS works (I've used it before with success but you never know)

I guess 72 only if I can have the puffer sent to crazedpuffer. If not I'm out cause My empty tank is going to house lots of little FW fish.
