Yes, you need not to feed her for at least 3 days & then try the shrimp bouncing on a thread trick. It make take a few more days but don't give up.

What size shrimp we talking about here. My store has little baby shrimp, normal shrimp, medium shrimp, large, and jumbo.

My trick has been to use a shrimp (the kind we humans eat) in a thread. Tear it up a little, so its juices comes out - it puts flavour to the water, and it can be easier to tempt a hungry puffer with the taste of it in the water. First bounce it in front of her nose (that has never worked for me, but at least they must agree it's there). Then (still hanging in a thread) put it in front of the waterflow from the filter (the water flow makes it seem alive), and leave it there for a while. Leave the tank alone, so the puffer don't have to worry about that huge human watching it as well. After a while, if the puffer still haven't touched the shrimp, remove it, and wait a day before trying again. With some of my puffers I've had to do this after the light has been turned off - the dark makes a scared puffer feel safer.
And be patient! Some times it can take days, and that at least make me nervous - even though I know they will "break down" in the end, and go for the goodies.

ok cool ill have to try this. Thanks alot for the info ill update you when i try it ok. We are about to move arpartments and im not gonna stress the fish out right now cause the move will be bad enough.
