Re: Meal Worms
eh? cut off the head and reach inside? I'd like to see a video of that! :yikes: You actually don't need to reach in that deep. It actually can be squeezed out EASILY!! I will try showing a vid of me killing the mealworm, taking out it's guts, and feeding them to my guppies. My guppies love them so ...

Re: Meal Worms
I've successfully fed my pet guppies the guts of mealworms before. They love it!!! All you do is squish the head of a mealworm and then take it off. Then you will have to reach inside and grab out it's guts (amazingly their guts are pure white!) This method therefore bypasses the hard outer shell of...

Re: I got myself A DP TODAY!!!
Okay everyone bad news. I have been trying to get Pickles to eat but just like Squirt...refuses to eat. Today I will try the soaked in garlic method. If this doesn't work then I have no other option other than give up on the Dwarf Puffer species.

Re: How to care for a Ghost Shrimp!!!!!
I was concerned because I have a pretty big gap in my tank for the cover for ease of feeding. Does the fact that ghost shrimp sometimes climb out mean that I need to seal in the gap?? Or not...

Re: How to care for a Ghost Shrimp!!!!!
I read this article and I am interested by something. Is it true that ghostshrimp climb out of the water?? If they do...won't they just die or something?Pufferpunk wrote:Search & you shall find!

Re: I got myself A DP TODAY!!!
When she placed it in it was semi frozen. There was no visible ice but the bloodworms were still stuck in a cube shape. But I don't do that...I unfreeze the whole things usually.

Re: I got myself A DP TODAY!!!
I don't know if anybody reads this post anymore...but here's another update. So I returned my beloved Squirt for a new DP today. She placed a block of frozen bloodworms in the tank *as previously promised* to aid me in finding a fish that will eat frozen food. After waiting a good 5 minutes only 1 f...

Live Plants + Live tankmates for DP!!!!!! :D
1. So I'm planning on getting some live plants for my DP...but I don't know what to get. The main problem is that I don't have gravel in my 5 gallon hexagon tank. So I was looking for plants that might attach to stuff or float possibly. So can you please tell me what species of live plants are easy ...
