thank you rtr your advice and comments are well appreciated. i have a 30 gallon tank and it is the long kind which i also prefer. my salinity is 1.oo8 which is ok, the little gobies are quite active and very terriorty inclined they are cute. suzie-q

what would be suitable tank mates for puffers i have two figure 8 and two bumble bee gobies any other fish i could add safely in brack water? thanks

i have two figure eight puffs and two bumble gobies in the same brackish tank there are two different bumble bee gobies and fish stores at times sell them as the same but even if you had one that is "fresh water as opposed to brack water it still would be ok in the brackish tank, they are suppo...

just bought a few snails at my local pet store actually they were free, put them in a small plastic container with some plants from the pet store. i want to know if a filter is to be used and i have a heater in this little container, i hope my sentence structure meets with approval puffergirl.

my new tank which has had my puffers in it now just about one week i did the saltwater high range ph color card and it showed ph was 8.8 i don't know if i should add or do something considering the tank is just now getting going with the ammonia/nitrate/nitrite cycle should i just be patient and wai...

question: right now i have natural stones on the floor of the aquarium someone suggested i use crushed coral or agonaite , can i add this on top of the stones? i know i have a lot of probably uninformed questions but i am asking the experts for advice just want to keep my puffers alive and swimming ...

i have a new 30 gallon tank going i read in one article about using sand on the bottom question i already bought 2 bags of natural stones for the bottom is it necessary to change this out ?

i have 2 figure 8 puffers, one is cheesepuff the other is butterball cute little things they are messy eaters, i have some frozen bloodworms, crab legs and shrimp and freeze dries krill they are eating ok am setting up a new tank for them and am wondering about if it is ok to add lava rock in the ta...

well i do not know about parasites but where do i go on your site to post an update on my figure 8 puffer that i almost killed? he is better named him cheesepuff. i am working on a new 30 gallon tank getting it set up any help will be greatly appreciated suzie-q

thank-you for your reply, my little puffer is indeed still alive i changed the water 50-75 percent , my plan will be to buy him a larger tank as suggested, now he is swimming up and down the too small tank, probably bored out of his mind, also he will not eat , i tried the frozen krill he bumped it ...
