I've seen some little white hairlike things which I assume were his IPS. I've cleaned out his tank and he seems to be doing much better. He is managing to keep some weight on now! Thanks everyone for all your help, you guys are terrific.

Well I think I saw a tape worm being excreted today, it was white and kinda stringy then kinda bumpy, it came out right before he started pooing, or at least thats what i think the second part was. He gets another fizzy tab today. I hope he gets better soon.

If you put vinegar on the rock or shell and it fizzes, it means that there is too much calcium present and that it will lower your ph. I've used it on flagstone, shells, rocks etc. its a good trick.
