Re: can i feed my gsp's live meal worms?
I feed mine too and they love them.. although they seem to prefer the mealworms after they turn to beetles

Re: what other fish have you kept with GSP's?
My 2 GSP's are only young but they share their tank with dalmation mollies and a Large Mono Sebae.
The mono harrases the mollies sometimes but GSP's are fine with all tank mates

I've been bitten a couple of times by my smallest GSP (approx 1")- He also attacks the net handle when I put it in the tank!!!SHocka wrote:thanks Jimi! But are they really that aggressive? He's so little, I doubt he's going to bite me!

Re: 20g Brackish Tank-Talk me through the set up!!!
albeit a bit large for one single F8 your 20g tank is too small for two F8's. Try a one F8 and a couple of mollies. The mollies should help with your "algae eater / glass cleaner" question. I have dalmation mollies with my F8's. I have seen posts about sailfin mollies bullying F8's so migh...

Re: Please help... I want a puffer!!
I agree 110%; out of all my puffers I reckon my DP's have the biggest and most prominent personality! However IMHO they are not good for community tanks as they spend their time eating fins and tails of non puffersapachepufferman wrote:If you want personallity and more than one fish then get some dwarf puffers.

My adult mollies def eat their fry. Sad really but true...bazil323 wrote:I never saw the adult mollies eat a fry, but I did see them chase the fry for a few seconds if they saw the fry. I'm thinking that the bbgs did most of the fry eating.

Re: does any one elses puffer
I have found that my SAP will eat flakes but none of my other puffers will. I have, wrongly or rightly, attributed this to their mellow nature... My mate (the one that hooked me on puffers) also reports that one of his 3 GSP's love flakes; maybe its down to personal preference on the puffers part? :?

Re: F8's and puffing
I have 3 F8's. I've seen one puff twice (different puffers each time) The first time was when my smallest was in the transportation bag and I'd just got him home. I poured some tank water into the bag and he must've got a fright coz he 'half' puffed. The second time I just happened to look into my t...

Re: The importance of BW when keeping F8 and GSP
I 100% agree. The few GSP's and F8's i've seen kept in FW long term never look as good or healthly compared to those seen in BW
