Re: Can I cycle my tank with a few Rossy Reds?

The feeders are for a Rock Bass and Jack Dempsey. If you don't believe in feeders or using fish for cycling that's okay, but that's not my view 8)

ah, okay I was wondering what the difference was.

Would a GSP live with bubble bee guppies in harmony like the F8 should?

Re: Can you use gravel covered by sand?

Thanks for the help, I won't mix then.

By the way, Sand is the prefered substrate for puffers in brackish right? (I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it was.)

F8 & Green Spot Puffer (Do they just differ in appearance?)

I know the Green Spot is supposed to grow a bit larger. Other than size, how do these puffers differ?

Can you use gravel covered by sand?

I have a good amount of black gravel. I was thinking of putting black sand on top of it if I start a brackish tank.

Opinions?

lol, kind of confused. You're talking about the dragon goby being the bad idea I assume. The puffer and two bubble bees are okay though right?

1 F8 and 2 Bubble bees?

That would be great. The only other fish I was really looking at was a dragon goby, but I don't think the F8 would work out well with it.

15g Tall - Can I have (1) F8 Puffer and (1) Bubble Bee Guppy

I have a new 15g Tall Aquarium. I would like to know if I could put a F8 Puffer and a Bubble Bee Guppy in there. The tank is currently empty (I've been into FW for awhile now, so I know how to cycle ect) Filtration will be a Mini-Rapids Cannister Filter upgraded with Eheim Substrat pro, Polyfilter, ...
