Mine are the same way. They are great hiders and I sometimes can't find them all even at dinnertime =P

I've had my bbg's in with my f8 puffy for a while now and they get along fine. She was very inquisitive at first about them but they are fast and she has lost interest. No problems so far, even at dinnertime =D

Mine go crazy for bloodworms and occasionally when I drop a snail in for my f8, they attack it =o

Puffers tend to be aggressive in general so if you put bigger ones in there, they will most likely nip and/or eat the little dp's, I'm afraid. If anyone else has any input, please correct me if I'm wrong. Not sure if there are any other puffs that can live peacefully with the dp's.

I have 4 oto's and 1 clown pleco and 5 neon tetras in with mine and no deaths or nips that I can tell and it's been a few months. But my tank has tons of plants and it's probably b/c of that. Mine only paces when I'm standing there looking at the tank as well. But when I'm not near it, and I happen to peek out of one room into the kitchen, I'll see her rumaging around in our rocks and plants so I know she's not bored. She just likes to beg =p
