Re: SAP Comparability
XD I honestly don't know how it slipped my mind that they got so big. Any other loaches yall would recommend that wouldn't get picked on? Anyone have any info on the Hillstream Loaches? Recommendations are welcomed! If I get something that doesn't work out, I have another tank I can move them to and...

Re: SAP Comparability
Yeah, I have heard they are pretty peaceful, but I have also heard they are nippy and wasn't sure if they would nip at the loach. I'll just stick to things with shorter fins, and will take the loach back if they get picked on.
thanks!

Re: SAP Comparability
If I won't have room for barbs or anything, or if you think they will get picked on to much, I'll just leave them out. Im willing to trim their teeth, and have already watched several videos on it and researched it. Do yall think they would pick on a clown loach? From what I have read, I'll probably...

SAP Comparability
So I am in the prices of cycling my 55 gallon tank, and I plan on doing SAPs. I was wondering, Howe many can I have? I already have a ton of plants and plan on putting in a lot of holy rock. What other fish can go with them? Any recommendations? I was thinking about doing tiger barbs because they ar...

Re: SAP or F8s?
I am only using fake plants, so that isn't a problem. I wanted to avoid setting up another tank unless I absolutely have too, although I did plan on feeding then a lot of different things. if I really need to I can probably figure something out. How often do figure eights need snails? It doesn't rea...

SAP or F8s?
So I just set up a fifty five gallon tank, and while it cycles I have to find out what pufferI plan on doing. It is a 55, and has two large filters on it that are made to filter sixty gallons each. I'm looking at figure eights or south Americans. Doing light brackish is no problem if I do the F8s. I...

Will do! Thanks for the help! So glad I found this forum!Nuclear_Glitter wrote:Setup a separate tank for snails and start breeding them, now cause you will need a constant supply. Check craigslist for a 5-10 gallon tank for them. You can buy snails on aquabid. Ramshorn and pond are the best for puffers.

Re: Green Spotted Puffers:New Tank Help!
Awesome! I will definatly look em up! Unfortunatly, Ill have to order them online, since the only fish store around here carries GSP. Any suggestions for a good site to order fish from would be greatly appreciated! Would hate to end up getting a bunch of dead puffers from a lousy site

Re: Green Spotted Puffers:New Tank Help!
Have had Dwarfs in the past, and I cant really say Im a fan. They are adorable though :) How big do F8's get? Can anything go with them, or are they best just in a group? My LFS only has spotted, and they know nothing. I asked about how many GSP's could go into a 30 gallon, and I was told between 4-...

Re: Green Spotted Puffers:New Tank Help!
Thank you! I have read so many different things on how much space they needed. A man at my local fish store ever said I could have 4-8! Its sad how little the people at these fish stores know sometimes. I knew that couldnt be right, So here I am! I am also looking into South American Puffers. How ma...

Cleaning Up An Acrylic
Today, I purchased a 55 Gallon Acrylic tank, complete with stand, filter and lights for eighty dollars. The tank is pretty roughed up, but I knew it was possible to clean up an acrylic tank. Even if I cant, i figured the stand and extras was worth the eighty bucks. Now, my question is, how should I ...
