Cleaning Up An Acrylic
Cleaning Up An Acrylic
Today, I purchased a 55 Gallon Acrylic tank, complete with stand, filter and lights for eighty dollars. The tank is pretty roughed up, but I knew it was possible to clean up an acrylic tank. Even if I cant, i figured the stand and extras was worth the eighty bucks. Now, my question is, how should I clean it? Its foggy, and has more than a few scratches. Scratches dont bother me very much, but If I cant get the tank cleared up then I will probably just buy a new 55 Gallon tank. I would love to save it if possible though, so any help would be appreciated!

Vinegar will clear up the foggy white stuff, Don't use anything rough to clean it. You could probably use your hand if it's not too caked on, but if you can't, find a soft cloth.
