Nice tank. What kind/size/filtration you know...

Are you planning on trying cycling with pure ammonia, I hear its the best way to go.

Pure ammonia and some floss seeded from my husband's filter.

It's just a 15gal. so one F8 is all that's gonna be housed.

Filration: Elite 20 HOB Power filter...

Here's a better pic: Plants needed to be rearranged, and everything has been mixed and settled

thanks :D

Once I get a puffer in it I will. Techinically it's not a "puffer" tank yet, even though it will be. But if I do, I'll be using that pic because I'm the type to get one beauty of a pic and not be able to recreate it. I know I'll be spending hours trying to take a pic of my f8 once I get him :D

I'm REALLY excited now!

Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: very very very trace amounts, like enough to make the test turn purple, but at the end of the 5min it's blue. So I mean there's a SMIDGEN but almost gone.

Nitrates: 10ppm and climbing.

Soo...Tank will be officially cycled in a few days!!! HOORAAY!!!

The LFS I'm picking my puffer up from keeps them in Brackish at 1.005 SG. I called to ask if they would order one in for me, and she's like "Oh we're ordering in a bunch, we have the tank ready to go" I'm happy....On Weds if tank params allow, I'm gonna get my Figure 8!!!

YAAAAY!!!

:mwave: :supercool: :mrcool:
