Feeding my new Puffer :)

Hey there people,

I bought a C. Irrubesco a few days ago,
And I've read the article in the library about
feeding and found it very useful but,
I'm still unsure on how often i should
be feeding him as he's only about 1-1.5".

Can anyone help me please?

I feed my 2" girl daily or twice daily, with an occasional fast day. They're active little critters and they need their calories!
Tanks:
20-gal feeder breeder (platties and snails)
75-gal West African Lungfish + snails

Other pets: Pacific parrotlet, Italian Greyhound, lots of plants
