Best Bet for a 29 gallon?

Hello everyone I'm a soon to be newbie to puffers once I do a little research and figure out what is suitable for me at the moment.

I have an empty 29 gallon tank and was wondering what would be my best bet to house in it as far as freshwater/brackish puffers go? I may be able to upgrade to a 40 gallon breeder at some point.

I really like the look of the fahaka but from my little knowledge I've gathered thus far it will outgrow the tank in no time and I cant fit another 100+ gallon right now . So is there something similar to that, that grows to about 6"-8"? Thanks all.

Also if you could give a brief description on aggression and water params and an on-line supplier that would be greatly appreciated

If you have a look in the Pufferpedia from the search menu at the top, you can browse profiles of many species and see what takes your fancy and whether your tank is suitable.

Keep in mind though, a 29 gallon tank really only holds 25 gallons and even less once you add substrate and decor. Its very misleading that they call them 29's.

Everything was answered for me except where can I get one online? The lfs' around here are horrible and i usually get all my fish through the mail

For ordering fish online, a few places to look are:

Make sure you get a positive ID though, a lot of the time you order somethign online and its not what you expected, due to common name mistakes. Try to get a photo and scientific name.
