Bought as a leiurus, maybe a turgidus (Tiger), 1x c. irrubesco (Tott(a) aka Houdini) 1x c. salivator (Jack the Ripper), 1x m. cochinchinensis (Hufflepuff - R.I.P.), 2x c. lorteti (Tommy and Tigern = Calvin and Hubbes), 1x m. suvatti (Koseklumpen), 1x m. palembangensis (Dragonfly), 2x t. biocellatus (Koken and Fiken).

OMG, OMG, OMG!
Sorry for the shouting but
I GOT MY HANDS ON A C. SALIVATOR TODAY!!!
*dancing around in the house*

Actually it's still in the shop, because I don't have a tank ready for it yet. But be sure I prepayed! No one else shall get that fish! So it's mine :-D In about 3 weeks, I will get several new tanks, and then it will be room for it. I will buy a new filter this week, and putting it in another tank that is well cycled, so that the filter will be ready for the puffer when the tank arrives.

Salivator is the puffer I've dreamed about owning, and now it's mine, mine, mine :-D

I didn't come home quite pufferless, though. Two c. irrubesco did find the way to my house. My lucky, lucky day :-D :-D :-D

I just had to tell anybody :-D

One, Taly. And I think your salivators know him. Because I guess you were the one buying a pair there earlier. At least a girl with the same name as you did... (at Majorstuen Zoo).

They were a pair earlier, but this nice little puffer did what puffers often do: he killed his wife.

But I got a nice price as he now is alone :-)

yes that was me ;) They only took in 2 pairs I think... Maybe 3... But I heard that one male was alone

It was two pairs. So all the salivators are now on our hands :-D
PS: I got him for 350 :-D (The price for a pair was close to 900 I think?). Just to make you envy me... ;-)

Still the same shop?
I don't think I will dear buying him a wife (all though I would like to). With the history of killing his mate, and with your salivator chasing his, it sounds like kind of risky. On the other hand: they didn't have much room in the tank at the shop. They had to live close together.
