puffers, puffers, and more puffers
puffers, puffers, and more puffers
I am going to set up a 46 hex tall tank for my puffers. They are currently in a 29 (there are 3 DPs and one SA). I know that I want more SAs, but i was wondering about any other species that would do well. I posted a while ago about other types of fish and have since given up on that idea. The substrate is sand with gravel mixed. It will be heavily covered with both real and fake plants (eventually all real when I can afford it! It will have an Eheim canister filter and a penguin 125 on it. Any suggestions would be great. or if i should keep it a species tank and do mostly SA puffs (but keep my original DPs)

Yah i agree with Bred on this one.
when ever u house different puffers together, or even the same species, u have a chance that some will end up being food.
and ive heard that its not a good idea that SAP's and DP's are housed together since the SAP's get all the food.
im just an amature...i dont even have dp's yet.....
still lookin
but if u must have some toher inds of puffers u should look into:

itll tell you what you can fit in that tank of yours.
if i were you i would leave the sap's and dp's in the 29 since it seems to be working for you, and get my self a congo puffer.
there so cool, im thinking of getting one for a 35g.
