SAP & Dwarf´s in same tank?

Hi all,
Bought by mistake 5 dwarf´s due to wrong info from the dealer. Two days later did i find real SAP´s and placed them in the same tank. I was ready to separate them but they seems to enjoy each other. Do you think its possible to keep them together over time? Hope its possible since the dwarf´s are cool as well

I have done it, in a 33xl tank (4ft long tank, very heavily planted). But my SAP was very mild mannered and got along with most community fish just fine, no nipping. Watch and pay attention though, every puffer is different, but these two species are probably the most easy going when it comes to tank mates.

My worry would be the DPs more than the SAPs. I'd worry that the DPs would shred the SAPs.

How big is the tank we're talking about? DPs need 5g each and SAPs need 2-3x that each.

My 3 SAPs had constant bites on them from 1 single DP. It was a 50g tank. What size tank are they in?

Its a 55g tank and they seems to be ok. Have a 100+g tank and might move over the SAPs if they start to nip each other.

I have a 55 gal that houses 4 dp's(2 male, 2 female), 2 sap's, 6 otto's and (shockingly) 1 happy ghost shrimp. These guys have all been together for about 5 months with no problems, if anything the sap's will get a little nippy at feeding time but it seems more of a threat than real aggression. My dp's all matured about 2 months ago wich made me pretty nervous and I have been keeping a close eye on them but all has been well. My tank is VERY heavily planted which helps alot. If you don't have much to break up line of site I would be very careful.

I have my SAP with my DP, and no problems or bites yet. They seem to swim together when the DP is feeling energetic!! The SAP is a lil skitz fish! Psycho!

ha ha. One of my sap's is a constant skitz and the other one just looks at him like he's crazy.

What is "otto´s"? A puffer?
