MBU PUFFER?
My Mbu shares his tank with a couple of catfish, he has done for over a year and i count myself very lucky. (There is actually some photos on here somewhere i think. Taken a while ago though!!) So far he seems a very placid little puffer, quite content with his little playmates.
He's actually lived with shrimp in his tank
They were put in his for his dinner and after 10 minutes of chasing he got totally fed up and left them to it!! I think that's laziness rather than his temperament tho!!
I should imagine as boomer grows bigger and the catfish don't they will become more appealing and will need to be moved out.

I'm very happy with 15 to 40 gallon tanks. So here's a slightly off topic question. If you have a 1000 gallon aquarium, surely you don't do weekly 50% water changes? Right? Just how does that work. When I had my 40 set up, weekly 20 gallon water changes just about undid me and got everything in the path between the tank and the bathtub quite wet.

Well, sure you can. Either manually or you'd more likely set up an auto water changing system.
I do 50% or more, usually 75% changes on a 60, a 75, a 33, a 29 and 4-5 10 gallon tanks weekly with no messes usually. The python is a life saver. (though I will admit I forgot to keep an eye on the 75 last week and overfilled it by a gallon or two.. was in the other room and heard a sudden waterfall!
