Freshwater only Breeds, I am new here!

Post by smidey »

Hi all
I have done what research I can in New Zealand ( there is very little) about a solely freshwater puffer species. I have discovered that there are such things from someone that has had them before. they were described as "Brazilian puffers". Is this correct? Can anyone confirm this? Also anyone in New Zealand a member here? Look forward to your reply.

Indeed.
That is one of the common names for the SAP (South American Puffer) or Colomesus asellus.
Go to our PufferPedia, click on Freshwater Puffers.
Most of the Freshwater species are listed there.

And welcome to The Puffer Forum.
