My brother has two snowflake eels. He just recently got them, but he can't get them to eat. (Been trying to feed feeder fish, frozen shrimp (no shell) and frozen bloodworms) They haven't been receptive to any of the food. Would they respond to garlic guard? Does anyone know what they commonly go for or anything? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

I feed the one at work Silversides. Get some tongs and wiggle it, it should take to it...

Well what he's been doing is wiggling shrimp on a skewer. Seems like the same idea, but they just dont seem interested.

How long has he had them? Sometimes difficult to get to eat, at 1st. Be sure the water parameters are perfect.

Yea, but they may not like shrimp... They may only eat fish. Try silversides man... Its worth a shot. Thehy come frozen.

Negative, Adam. Gymnthorax tile. It's brackish. (Usually sold as a "freshwater eel." I guess I could try silversides. I dunno why they would eat frozen fish if they wouldn't eat a live one.
