New dwarf freshwater puffers.

Post by crayfish »

Hey, I now have my puffers in the tank and everything is good except taht i was able to convince my mom to let me get live worms, so i just have frozen. im not sure if my puffers like these, they just kinda look at them. Is iot just that the puffers dont eat often of is there a problem? what can i do? will they get used to frozen?
thanks

Using live brine shrimp or live blackworms along with the frozen can train them to accept the frozen. They don't know that it is food and have not grown accustomed to it.

Are you using snails? Very small ones are best for young DPs, but you could try crushing slightly larger ones.
