Just like the title says, would it ever work? And if it would what tank size would you need and could you keep bumblebee gobies in this setup as well?

Surprisingly, they do well with Ghost Shrimp & smaller shrimp. Not sure Crays are a good idea as they are opportunistic feeders & may go after the puffers while they're sleeping.
