pH

Post by kass »

Will sea shells be sufficient to keep the pH at around 8? I have maybe 20 sea shells and a couple small pieces of dead coral. Also, if the pH is already high out the tap, will it cause it to rise or just maintain the pH?

It may help maintain it a little bit. Water changes will be doing most of the work in this situation I imagine.
