I'm looking at buying some aquariums from people on craigslist, and some people are selling their tanks but they have fish in them they want to sell it together with.
If I keep puffers with larger fish that are not aggressive or moderately aggressive, will they be compatible?
The larger fish are 3-4 inches, the puffers are about an inch now.

The problem is finding other fish that make the transition from freshwater to marine, plus puffers can be murderous
