Before we begin, I've been keeping fish for many years, I've had coldwater to marine setups, and recently I've decided to start again, on a smaller scale.
I decided to buy a nano tank for my girlfriend, as she's had an interest in freshwater Puffers for quite a while. So I got one, set it up, cycled etc, then decided on one or two dwarf puffers.
Now I generally do my research first, however I was a little thrown by my LFS.
I had a browse, and I saw they had some yellow spotted puffers (as labelled). I went to ask if they were getting any Dwarf puffers in, to which he replied "They're there in that tank". After a few puzzled questions and faces, he convinced me that the fish in the tank were actually Dwarf Puffers, ie they live in fresh water, not brackish etc.
I bought a couple, and settled them in.
Shortly after, I started to think..."Hmmm, they look a little large to be Dwarf Puffers". They're perfectly happy, but if anyone could confirm my thoughts that they are actually Yellow Spotted, I can give my LFS an ear bashing when I take them back. If I'm wrong, perfect!

Thanks for your input
