will dwarf puffer eat crayfish meat?
just seen some in my local shop on offer and thought that it could form part of the meaty diet for a my dwarf puffers or a bit of variety if not anything else. currently they get brine frozen/live bloodworm and snails

If they will eat it, great. But your current diet is fine for a dp. Try adding black worms

Mine will only eat live blackworms. You can try though.

DP's incisors are not very strong at all. I doubt that they could or would attack the live cray unless it were a tiny hatchling, and those tend to hide pretty well. I'd stick to smaller, softer foods for DPs.

Most of those Ive seen are already cooked, are yours raw?

Cooking always involves so loss of vitamins and other such trace-level nutrients. For that matter, even the free-thaw process involves some losses, but not nearly as badly as does cooking. Human diets involve cooking of multiple forms of foods, but wild animals in general never see cooked foods except from humans...
