white spotted puffers
white spotted puffers
i went to my lfs last night to get some ghost shrimp, and while i was looking around i saw something called a white spotted puffer in a tank with some gsps and figure eights, it had some stripes and lots of spots all white with a sort of elongated body anyone know what this guy is?

That's the milk-spotted puffers that I have two of. I wouldn't describe the body as particularly elongated tho, so maybe the above people are more on target with your description.
Granted... there seems to be some different species listed under this name that a simple google search reveals such as

But the top link is 100% the fish I have in my tanks, sold at a LFS in the Chicago suburbs... although I need to borrow my gf's camera!
ps: the LFS gave these the common name "white dot puffer," which doesn't seem to be actually used anywhere.
