I feed Hobart snails daily. Today I noticed that he doesn't always eat the shell, but more sucks (or bites) the snail out. Is this enough to war his teeth? Is there something else I should be giving him to help prevent overgrown teeth? (he also gets bloodworms (one at a time), but not until he's eaten a few snails)
I was told to feed him snails "the size of his eye". Is that correct? Will smaller ones not help him wear his teeth? Will he not be able to eat bigger ones?

Smash or crack them a bit with forcepts. I have more big snails than small ones and that is what I do for my F8.
Good luck.
