Fahaka feeding

Post by FufferLvr »

Hey guys. So I'm new to puffers. I have had my fahaka for about three days now. The only thing I can get him to eat is prawns. Wich he eats quite ferociously lol. I just worry he needs a more varied diet and was curious as to what some of yours like to eat. He is still very small only 3-4 inches. Thanks for any ideas.

It's good that he is eating straight off, keep trying new stuff and he will come round. Snails, crab, mussel, cockle pretty much any raw seafoods. The more you vary the better, also soak foods in a good vitamin supplement.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Thanks. I tried scallops and he wouldnt touch them. He wants the live danios the store was feeding him but I refuse when he can be raised just as healthy on stuff I don't have to murder lol. Thanks for the advice.
