I found a fluvial g6 on craigslist, I have 2 gsp in a 30 gal... I plan to move them as soon as I get a chance to build a new aquarium (approx 100 gal) I was wondering if the flival would be big enough for the tank I have now and if it would still be enough for the bigger tank after its done... thanks in advance to the advice
I was also considering a fluval fx5 would that b a better option?

Both those filters are good, but not really the sort of filtration best for gsp. Once you hit marine conditions ( I assume that's the way you are going?) it will just produce nitrates. You know this already but you need to upgrade quickly as puffers grow quick
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Yea I know they grow fast which is why I'm trying to do this as fast as possible, I am going towards full marine conditions all tho I'll admit Im lost when it comes to aquariums or fish in general... what kind of filter would u suggest?

It all seems a bit bewildering but is relatively simple. Good flow, live rock and a skimmer are the essentials. A sump is really useful or some would say essential so is recommended.

A sump is a secondary tank under the display tank. I am just starting my first marine tank myself
