A fahaka would consider a pleco as a nice, slow moving snack. In general, fahakas do not do well with tankmates.

When my fahaka was tiny he beat up and bit a massive plec, not a good idea
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Someone on here once quoted:
Fahakas do not have tankmates, just swimming food reserves.

You may just get the 1% fahaka who allows tank mates. Mine does--although there are some he lived with for years & then turned on them.

my fahaka has allowed 3-4 convicts to live with him, but has also eaten 3-4 of them. Just a matter of time before he eats them all.

I have a 10 inch Motoro Ray in with my fahaka puffer and they get along quite well I use to have my 14" Mbu in with the Ray but he got to big for my 125g tank so I switched him to a 300 gallon tank that I custom built at my work
