Guessing Puffers Age?

Post by HeatherRW »

I have 3 F8's. Had them for a couple weeks now. Is there any way to tell their age? They are all around 2in. Maybe a little more. I know they are caught wild. So they could be several years old for all I know, right? Also they pace the glass a lot, I have a pretty heavily planted tank. All live plants, a large rock and 2 big pieces of driftwood. It's a 46 gal. Thanks for any help and a Merry Christmas to all :)
Jesus is the reason for the season :)

It's impossible to accurately guess their age, especially if they have been in captivity for some time. There are so many factors to consider
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

+1 to bertie's comment. There is no way to guess a captive puffer's age.
