Do dp get along with ghost shrimp?
Ive heard conflicting info. Some say yes, some say no. ive had my 2 dp with 3 ghosties for about a week now and they seem to coexist... Will it be short term? If so I suppose thats ok, maybe they can crunch on the skeleton a bit and get a good meal since ghosties are feeders anyway.

It really depends on the individual character of each dp.. Ghost shrimps are no pushover either.. Some bigger ones do snatch food from my dps.. They make great cleaners though.

Re: Do dp get along with ghost shrimp?
IME if the shrimp are much bigger than the dp it's normally ok. But some dps are prone to tackling even the biggest prey. So yes it's down to the puffer
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

You posted this three times; you should probably delete the other two posts.

Re: Do dp get along with ghost shrimp?
Animals are complicated at best, when it comes to creatures as intelligent as puffers nothing is certain. I have a fahaka which co-exists with other fish so does pp. And these are generally hardcore killers. This is by no means a recommendation to mix puffers with other fish, the first fish added was a cae which was too big and aggressive for any other tank I own, he had to go somewhere lol. He has a couple more "friends" now but they may become food at some point, I don't get too attached.

Mine have totally ignored the ghost shrimp and larger snails sharing the tank with them.
