Cylon with a GSP

Post by GSPicthus »

I have a single GSP in a 75 Gallon. I am debating weather to keep it alone or add a tank mate. I was thinking one more GSP but then I heard Cylon puffers will work well.

Does anyone have experience with this mix?

This combo can go either way, but if I remember correctly it will be better to raise them together now as juveniles but be cautioned that the Ceylon will get bigger than the GSP so you may have to bump that tank up to a 90 or 120 gallon later on.
WARNING: Puffers are mischievous little blimps with enchanting powers. You may not be content with having just one.

+ 1 to the above. It depends on individual puffers etc. What sg are you running at as there may ( depending on your puff) be other options. Like a few leather corals or hermits etc.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Thank you all for the info. I am content with the GSP for now I just wanted to know if I had the option. Puffer Punk did you have yours together from the beginning or did you put them together later on?

I bought the 2 GSPs together & got the Ceylon later. Tons of broken lines of sight though.
