Post by J-P »

I was told that I wasn't interactive enough... please let me know your thoughts.

I don't like the lighting nor the camera shake.

Whoa loads of problems that just wouldn't cut it for a sunday dinner here.

You fogot veg carrots, peas, sprouts, cabbage, parsnips, broc, colliflower ect i mean we don't eat all that veg but at least a couple. The meat looked pretty good but you slaughterd the roast spuds and no yorkshire puddings i can see why because i live in yorkshire but there easy and the best thing ever. YOU need some stuffing aswell.

I would cut the patatos first then boil for 10 min untill there getting soft its then cook in the beef juices in the same tray you cook the meat in or even a bit of butter, they will be spot on. I Can't ever put chip spice on roastys LOOL. If you type yorkshire puddings on youtube you can try them if you haven't before there great we all eat them over here. You want a nice beef gravy with your dinner aswell if you put a teaspoon of english mustard in it's really good. LOL garlic bread with a beef dinner ??

It's ok just not how id do it.

yorkshire puds - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PnpKnFNVLE

This guy makes one in america but fogets the yorkshire puds and stuffing lol - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyjWLs7LVTM

thank you!! I have always want to make Yorkshire pudding but have never tried. Will so so certainly :D

I do like the idea of cutting the potatoes first though.

I wasn't sure if I should do a full meal ... or just focus on the "roast beef" portion. Most people do a focus, but since this is my first vid the feed back is appreciated.

no.... it was a 24 hour marinade. I used a rub and some spice put it in the bag and let it sit. Went to work and turned it after work.

A roast beef dinner without yorkshires! No veg, I think you dropped the ball jp. That's just not British. For the best spuds:- boil till ever so slightly soft drain and put them back in the saucepan, ad butter and shake them around (called fluffing lol) cook in a) goosefat or b) meat fat. Allow a little extra time for real crunchy spuds. Meat looks spot on dude
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

I wasn't sure if I should go with an entire meal or just spotlight the main.

As this is our first vid... I think the spotlight the main is the best. Going forward, would you like to see an entire meal or the components of that meal in focus?

I would have to answer yes as you can't have meat without the related products, it's a crime actually lol

typically I do... but the mother is away so I kept it meat and potatoes ;)

I am watching other vids also and the presentation in the visa are really good. They certainly put me to shame, but the cooking style and technique are BAD... The next vid I believe we're doing ribs. They are on sale now so I got 2 packs of 2 and we'll do 5 segments on those. Prep + 4 different variations.

And if you do a rib vid, you can focus on just the meat and I promise not to blast you. Lol
